We believe in big ideas.

However, some big ideas, even when coupled with genuine skills, careful planning, a resume of achievement, and a roster of talented people … still falter for lack of capital. Our “big idea” is to not only raise the capital required to finish a 17,000 square foot, state-of-the-art, haunted attraction, but to also put it on its best footing for financial success.

To some, 2010 probably doesn’t look to be a good year to do this. Bank loans for haunted attractions are virtually non-existent and currently even companies with proven track records find this task very difficult. And virtually nothing is a “safe enough” bet for many investors these days after many “normal” investments failed them. Few investors “get” a haunted attraction, even ones with a stacked deck of proven talent and resources.

Spook House Logistics, Ltd. -- A 50/50 blend of proven creativity and business smarts -- Was formed in 2010 to, among other tasks, capitalize the completion of Kreepy Krawly’s House of Horrors. Instead of relying solely on conventional capital sources, we’re appealing directly to the people who count: haunted house aficionados, fans of horror, every kind of artist, those who (like us) think a little different … in short, people who do “get it.”

David Barton, who will manage and design this attraction for the parent company, has nearly three decades of experience working as a special make-up effects designer, artist, writer, and director in the motion picture industry and haunted house industry.

David’s Hollywood resume and prior experience designing two other haunted houses has prepared him well to create this attraction. Recently, one of the top haunters in the nation visited the attraction and said:

"They have the start of an amazing haunted house, built like none I’ve ever seen.  If the detail and care they put into the design and construction are any indicator of things to come, this haunt will be a major contender."

In addition to David, we’ve added other creative, time-tested people like Paul Diefendorf, with 25 years of exceptional work in the haunted attraction industry and J.R. Bookwalter, with 28 years experience as a motion picture director, producer, who will handle the attraction’s audio-visual needs.

However, more important than anything else is you the present reader and your perception of what we’re endeavoring to do. After all, the fact that you’re reading this probably means you truly appreciate the collective talent being presented here as well as appreciate the product we seek to create.

If you like what you see, help us out. In spirit, your support of our contest and other promotions, makes you an integral part of the “big idea” … a ghost, if you will, in the Kreepy Krawly machine.
